About The Artist
Olivia Jones is an Irish artist, originally from Co. Monaghan, now living along the west coast of Ireland in Co. Sligo. From an early age Olivia was influenced by form and structure as she explored materials in her father’s joinery workshop. This inspired her to follow a career in architecture and furniture design, until pivoting to a role in environmental education. This unique combination of experiences can be seen in her work, often showing natural and organic shapes restrained with architectural elements.
Olivia is a BA(Hons) Graduate of Interior Architecture & Design from Sligo ATU. She gained essential design and drafting skills during her time working on an internship in stage design in the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie, Brussels and as an Interior Architect in several design firms in Ireland and Australia.
